The Kirby Morgan® 37 commercial diving helmet has been tested and conforms to the performance requirements set forth in Annex II of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and, where applicable, EN 15333-1:2008 (Class B). It is fully CE marked equipped with either the SuperFlow® 350 or 455 Balanced regulator, and all three approved oral nasal assemblies.

- Recommended Lubricants: All helmets are lubricated at KMDSI with ChristoLube®. Helmets used for air diving or diving with oxygen mixtures containing less than 50% oxygen can be lubricated with food grade silicone such as Molykote® 111 or equivalent.
- 455 Balanced Regulator – The Kirby Morgan 455 Balanced Regulator body is made of 316 stainless steel, as are all its other metal components. The 455 Balanced regulator is designed and engineered to be rugged, long lasting and easy to disassemble for simple, fast, cleaning and servicing. The 455 Balanced regulator meets all requirements of European standard EN15333-1 and is CE approved.

- Temperature limitations: Kirby Morgan Helmets and BandMasks can be used in water at temperatures as low as 33°F (0.6°C) without the worry of demand regulator freezing without the use of a hot water shroud and hot water. However, it is strongly recommended that KMDSI water shrouds and hot water be used for the comfort of the diver whenever the water is colder than 34°F (1 °C), and /or anytime the top-side air temperature is below freezing to prevent the diver’s exhalation condensation from forming ice prior to entering the water.
